A Heart Falls Down, Sentimentally
Upon recommendation from a close friend, I (reluctantly) shut off the music to the video for Scarlett Johansson’s new yet-to-be-released Tom Waits cover “Falling Down,” and instead played She & Him’s Sentimental Heart. Magnificent.
Step one: Download She & Him’s “Sentimental Heart”
Step two: click HERE to watch the video.
Step three: turn the sound off of the video.
Step four: Play song and video.

That’s Scarlett Johansson for those who have not grown accustomed to her face. Just heard a track from the Danish-American actress turned songstress, in which legendary David Bowie lends his vocal prowess. Follow the DAVID BOWIE CIRCLE OF DEATH (with mp3s!) after the jump:

A few items of note…

- Voluptuous actress Scarlett Johansson has a new album coming out. This is big news for anyone who is a fan of the lovely Scarlett. Not sure when it’s coming out, and haven’t heard anything, but based on her version of the jazz classic “Summertime” (found in digital mp3 form at the bottom of the post), it shows some definite promise.
- Pitchfork-heavy today, but that is okay, since all of this news is great news. Of Montreal has released a cover of the sexy M.I.A. song “Jimmy.” This song can also be found in mp3 form below.
- Spin online has a couple of annual lists: Best of ‘07 and Lookin’ Ahead to ‘08. Some really interesting picks make their top 40 of ‘07 including The Hives (13), Peter, Bjorn and John (23, and which I saw on NO other list this year!), and two Minnesotans: Prince and Brother Ali (12 and 30, respectively).
- …And Feist will be doing the Olympics.
MP3: Scarlett Johansson-Summertime
Buy Of Montreal/MP3: Jimmy
