Arcade Fire-Neon Bible

Due to IIG,IG’s late start, we’ll be covering some of the best albums of this year to present. In the future, we will be reviewing albums as they come out. 

June 2005. Cohasset, MN. I was lounging in my living room at 10:00 am, munching on Kix and watching The Price Is Right. Bob had just opened the show with his guests playing Madam Cleo, trying to guess the price of a jukebox that they’ll never use. Erik, a dedicated follower of the show (you could tell by his “Bob for President” t-shirt), had just won the jukebox with a jackass bid of $1, when I heard a knock at the door. Both parents were at work, and my sister was sleeping, so I was on door duty.
