About
There are a lot of people reviewing music. It has become quite the industry, between the blogs, newspapers, magazines, television shows, and literally all other forms of media. In this dense fog of music reviews, many of the more competitive individuals will try to distinguish himself or herself as a lighthouse. This is the kind of person who cannot recover to have a good day once their toast has been burned at breakfast. This is the kind of person who was upset when Dylan went electric.
And so we live by one simple tenet:
If it’s good, it’s good.

Hey!
I saw on your blog that you write about new artists and wanted to introduce you to a newcomer called Rose Kemp who’s on the One Little Indian label. I was hoping you’d take a listen to her new single that’s coming out in June and possibly write a blog about it. It’s called Nanny’s World and is the first from her forthcoming single Unholy Majesty.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Kind regards.

My toast was burnt this morning, but I think I will make it through the day just fine. It’s true enough: what’s good is good.
Anyway, I’m going to jump on the bandwagon and also plug a great band on our London label, Blow Up. Hailing from Sweden, indie-pop band Mockingbird, Wish Me Luck has just released their debut “Days Come and Go.” Perhaps you could give them a little listen at their myspace and / or contact me about sending you some more detailed information and music.
Thanks!

Hi If it’s good it’s good,
I really enjoy your blog. Your taste in music lines up pretty close to what my taste in music is so I tend to read your blog often. I just wanted to let you know about my band High on Stress. We are from Minneapolis. I think there’s a good possibility that you might like our stuff. Let me know if you would like me to send you an MP3 of a brand new song that is going to be on our album coming out at the end of the summer. If you end up liking it please write write about it. If you don’t go ahead and delete it. Our influences include Josh Rouse, Ryan Adams, Hayden, Wilco and the Replacements. Let me know if you have any interest and keep up the great blogging.

If you’re going to leech content from my website and essentially steal my bandwidth, you could at least add me to your blog roll. (http://ifitsgood.wordpress.com/2009/04/09/ny-times-reports-increase-in-number-of-djs/ links directly to the Ting Ting’s MP3 on my site). Thanks.
It would also be nice if people could contact you outside of a public forum… you could give an email address for example.
